Prayer Journals
Journaling is by far my favorite way to commune with God. It occurred to me recently that most people just read the Word and ponder it but I’ve always been a writer so having an outlet to process what I’m reading and learning has been so effective for me. If you’re like me, or if you’re not but you want to be more disciplined in studying the Word of God – you may find something here that is helpful to you.
My journals are self-directed and self-paced. They’re all made to be daily but as a journal this space is for you, whatever you make of it. They don’t tell you what to think, what to read, or what’s important because ‘you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true — it is not a lie. So just as he taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ’ (NLT). 1 John 2:26–27

Women’s prayer journal
Lovable
My first prayer journal. I set out to create the perfect journal, from my perspective. Having used several types of journals I settled on these daily recordings: Reading, Scripture, Observations, Thanks, and Prayer.
This is a open-ended invitation for God to move in your life as you read and reflect on any scripture as you are led by the Spirit. The design is more feminine, but the structure and the content are effective for any believer.
Daily Gospel Reading
What’s your favorite thing about the Gospels? All reply: Jesus!
In this series, I’ve created one book for each gospel Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And within, one page/one day for each chapter. Sometimes I call this a Bible Study because it’s specific to a book – but I’m not teaching you anything here. This is a simple journal – a space for you to make your own observations.
What makes these daily reading journals different is that every seventh day I have included a particular study practice. Memorizing scripture, praying scripture, drawing a picture, etc. These can help you with comprehension and retention as well as identifying uncommon study habits that may be more effective for YOU. In the unique way God created you.
Men’s prayer journal
WARRIOR
Following the same structure as my first prayer journal, Warrior has a sleek new design that is suitable for men.
My journals are designed to give you a framework to reflect on the Word at your own pace, in whatever season you find yourself.
Begin by reading and writing out scripture. Then, record your reflections and observations. Finally, give thanks and pray.
Draw near to God and do battle in the spirit by reading His Word and putting it into action.
CUSTOMER REVIEW
I am so thankful for this Prayer Journal. It’s opened the door to the gift of writing that I somehow lost along the way- always meaning to get around to it but never taking the time. It’s tempting to just read and not write. But I am discovering that when I write, something powerful happens; awareness of deeper truths come to light and I remember what I read better. Also, my written prayers are powerful. I feel them deeply and I’m amazed by this. So thank you so much for creating this wonderful tool that has enhanced my devotional experience! God bless you Amber!
