Grace Christian Academy — Becoming an Extension of the Team
Good work deserves to be communicated with clarity and excellence. Over several years, our partnership with Grace Christian Academy has grown from individual marketing needs into a cohesive digital and communications ecosystem—strengthening their website, enrollment experience, family communications, print materials, social presence, and the systems that support their mission.
The Organization
Grace Christian Academy
[ k – 12 christian school in green bay ]
Grace Christian Academy is a Christian school committed to providing students with an academically strong education grounded in a biblical worldview. More than a school, GCA seeks to partner with families in developing students who know truth, grow in character, and are equipped to live out their faith with purpose.
The Need
A Strong Vision Ready
for a Stronger Brand
When I began working with Grace Christian Academy, the school was still operating at a grassroots level. Marketing and communications had largely been carried by dedicated volunteers who had the heart and vision for the school, but limited access to professional design tools, systems, and resources.
As a result, there was little consistency across the school’s website, communications, marketing materials, and collateral. The challenge wasn’t to reinvent GCA—it was to take the vision, spirit, established logo, and recognizable brand colors that were already there and build a cohesive, professional presence around them.
The GoodWork
CoPilot : CoWorker
[ stewarding a brand through years of growth ]
Grace Christian Academy is Good Work Co’s longest-standing partnership. Over the past several years, I’ve helped comprehensively reshape the school’s brand presence while intentionally preserving its classic logo, established colors, and the identity its community already knew.
For much of that relationship, I served at a CO-Pilot level—helping guide marketing strategy while also carrying much of the implementation. That work has grown far beyond a website redesign to include ongoing SEO and GEO optimization, social media management and advertising, print advertising, email marketing, a monthly family newsletter, CRM development, a parent portal, dynamic enrollment forms, online payment processing, yearbook design, the Grace Gazette, apparel, stickers, and other school communications and collateral.
As GCA’s needs and internal capacity have changed, so has our partnership. Today, I continue to serve the school at a CO-Worker level, providing ongoing stewardship, strategy, implementation, and support as needed. That’s one of the strengths of the Good Work Co model: the level of partnership can change while the knowledge, history, and understanding of the organization remain.
